Just a few years ago LED´s where used only for indication, but a lot have happened since then. We can now offer our customers 1W, 2,5W and even 5W LED´s with a typical brightness of up to 155lm.
This new kind of LED´s are even better as a light source than an ordinary light-bulb since they;

1). They are using a lot less current:
A normal light-bulb is using between 12W – 80W, but our new Power LED´s are only using 1W – 5W depending on type of LED.
This means that you can lower your electrical bill and at the same time keep the light.
2). They are not creating so much heat:
Since the LED´s only use 1W – 5W it does not create so much heat. This means that even the risk of fire is lowered.
3). Are much smaller than light-bulbs:
These Power LED´s are awailable to order in different shapes. The largest type has a cooling plate attached to the LED and has the size of 19,9 * 19,9mm, where as the smallest is only 9 * 9mm in size.
This makes the Power LED´s ideal light-source for places where you do not have to much space as kitchen and boat light.
4). They resist vibrations much better than light-bulbs. Since the LED´s are bild up in a more robust way than light-bulbs the LED´s even work if you drop them in the ground a cupple of times, this is one of the reasons why the automotive industry have been using LED´s for a long time instead of light-bulbs.
5). The life time of an LED is much longer than the lifetime of a light-bulb.
An regular light-bulb has a lifetime of about 1000 hours, while the life time of an LED is about 70 000 – 100 000 hours.
