When you put LEDs together the customer are demanding that they look and work in the same way. To be able to get that to work here is some information.

Colour
When you are using LEDs side by side you have to have colour uniformity and you should use LEDs from the same colour rank selection. This is especially important when you work with LED displays.

Light intensity
Everybody would like to have as good intensity as possible but when you have the LEDs, side by side you have to see to that they have roughly the same intensity. In this case it isn’t as critical as with the colours due to that the eye can’t detect different light intensity from information signs and similar. When you use the LED as a light source it’s more important to keep the light uniform especially when you are using the out coming light to reflect on different objects.

Vf
All different LEDs have different Vf over it self but even in the same colour group and therefore you have Vf rank. It is mainly used in the UV, White, Blue and Green area.
